Is this really a known bug or does this user have a bunk board? He claims that everytime you plug in some type of external USB device such as an external hard drive or a thumbdrive, your boot order is reset and you have to go into your BIOS to re-order your drives again.
 
It could happen I guess. Just set the right order in the BIOS ONCE and you won't have to worry again.
