There are 2 extra SATA ports on A8N32, which utilize SiI3132 chip. One of them is eSATA, and the other is plain SATA. In order to use the eSATA port which is on the I/O panel of the board, you'll need a eSATA cable and a compatible enclosure for your HDD. For the other SATA port (on the motherboard), you can use the plain SATA cable but you'll need a PCI SATA braket for external use. They both work great and much faster than USB.
