If I have 2 single sided x256 running dual channel @ stock ddr400, and want to add more ram, am I correct in that this board cannot run single sided and double sided memory together in 4 banks @ddr400? Esentially, I want to go to 1gb, meaning if I keep the ram I have, I would need 2 more 256's. I am pretty sure this board does not have issues with all 4 banks occupied running at ddr400 as long as the dimms are all single sided or double sided. I am not sure but I think somewhere I read that mixing DS and SS ram causes the board to run at ddr333. Anyone know the scoop here. Their web site and manual are very vague on this subject. I guess my options are:
buy 2x512mb, sell the 2x256
keep existing 2x256, add 2x256
buy 2x512, keep 2x256 and run 1.5 gb ram only if it can be done at ddr400.
