If i try to change the bus from original 200 mhz the cpu multiplier becomes 5x even if in bios settings i put 11x or auto or anithing else so the cpu clock goes to 1005
what may it be?
I have an athlon64 3500+ and the MB bios is the original one.

is that the cpu clock or the HT clock. i know with my 3500, it is not at 200 fsb stock it is at 201 for some reason, so i manually raise the cpu to 201. also, i manually set the cpu multi to 11 and the HT multi to 5. if your cpu (not HT which should be at 1005) is at 1005, then yes something is wrong and you should flash to newest bios. i am having goos luck with the 1007-002 beta bios and the 3500. 1003 was good but when flashed 1004 prime blend gave me problems. 1007-002 works with no problems.

unfortunately it's really the cpu clock that goes to 1005 even if I use the standard OC options like NOS or 3% OC. I'll try to update the bios but for my MB there is only a beta release :disgust: I hope it may help!!
