a8n sli premium onboard sound

anyone using onboard sound and 5.1 speakers?cant get my rear speakers to work,have uptodate drivers and speakers do work just not on my pc,not a major problem as i will get a sound card soon.would be nice to have surround now though.cheers

I take it you're using the Onboard sound ?

I seem to recall in the Drivers for the Sound that there is a Utility that gets installed.

There are several Sound configurations available. Take note of where things are plugged in under the different configurations - they change.

Nevermind - NV Swap doesn't do what I thought I remembered. But still - My rears must be plugged into the gray instead of the black.
