I just finishe building my new system.
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
A8N-SLI PREMIUM
2x 512MB Crucial Ballistix from old system
2x WD2500KS
Leadtek PX7800GT Extreme
Antec TP2-550 EPS12V
Antec P180
Now here's the catch, the motherboard does not post whenever there is a dimm in slot 1 or 2. It can post fine with 1 or 2 dimms in slot 3 and 4. I've tried all the combinations when testing. I've updated the bios to 1009.004 and still nothing. And will now try 1011.004.
Is the board fried or is the CPU a more likely to be the problem.
Any other suggestions?
