a8n sli premium- 2gig 1t timing issue?

I put together a system for a buddy using the a8n sli premium mobo and 2 1gig each sticks of pdp 2325 memory. If i change the timings to 1t the system locks solid.... It should be able to run 2 1 gig sticks at 1t timings right??

or do i need to do a bios update?

Overclocking ?

I'm thinking you may need to either bump your RAM voltage or loosen you other timings a little to get these to work.

Also, you are in slots 1 & 3 for Dual Channel correct ? If not, that may be causing some issues with the Memory Controller for the amount of RAM you have.

What CPU are you running ?

Is that memory from an approved vendor? Some of the threads on the premium indicate some memory compatibility issues.

I have 2 1gig mushkin EM chips and it works at 1T. In fact, I even discovered after running some diags that I am actually running it faster than spec, at 3-3-3-8 instead of 3-4-4-8.
