A8N-SLI DELUXE SLOW IN GAMES???

No mater what rez i use it runs slow. It loads the games extremely fast, but it just gets no zip in game.

I have tried doom 3 and half life 2 and they both run 30fps with many video jerks.

I have:

a8n-sli deluxe with 1 videocard
the onboard sli chip is set to single, and the bios is set to normal.

athlon 3200+
1.5 gb pc 3200 ram
2x250 gb hdd's in raid-0
x700 pro

updated catalyst drivers.
direct x 9.0c.

I have no idea where to even start looking thanks for the help in advance.

What resolution and settings are you using in doom3 and hl2? Mabey they are set too high for your x700?

These guys ran an X800XT on the A8N-SLI and it looks good:

The X700 is not the most powerful card, but you still should be getting more than 30 fps in HL2... unless you're running it at 1600x1200 4xAA 16XAF, in which case 30 fps would be about right.

Other than that, it sounds like a driver/bios issue.

Did you properly install the AGP drivers (come with the mainboard, not the graphics card).
