Hello!

I need some advice form you.
I have a mobo (in the sig) and I always use Q-Fan feature. Recently I was doing a lot of inside the computer and something goes wrong (I supose). I put the FAN into CFAN1 (hot plug / ups...) and computer turned off. I started it and I everyting was working ok but... Almost. After few days I saw that Q-Fan don't slow down my CFAN1 (it worked earlier)... Is it possible that I killed the IT8712F chip witch conrols the RPM? Now FAN works to full speed. RPM monitoring is working also with no problem. What to do to make it work again? Or maybe chip is burned... Have you got similar experience?

I recived reply from Asus.
It's probably a voltage regulation chip damage. :-(
Only solution is RMA...
