A8N-SLI Deluxe drivers

About to reformat, and I'm wondering what all the drivers are that I'll need beforehand.
Do I ONLY need the nforece4 chipset driver (v6.66 or whatever the latest one is), and then the individual drivers for each of my other components (video card, sound card, etc)?

If you're running XP or XP 64-bit, get the 6.65 drivers.
For 2k, 2003 or 2003 64-Bit get the 6.66 drivers.

From ASUS web site;

For WinXP 32bit system, please download and update chipset drivers V6.65 or later
For WinXP 64bit system, please download and update chipset drivers V6.65 or later
For Win2k/2003 32bit system, please download and update chipset drivers V6.66 or later
For Win2003 64bit system, please download and update chipset drivers V6.66 or later

Don't pay attention to the "or later" part. The 6.65 drivers are actully dated a day or two after the 6.66 drivers.

I understand that part, what I am wondering is if there's seperate drivers that I have to get for certain parts of the motherboard, such as the ethernet ports or whatever else.

Hit ASUS web site and collect the newer drivers. You will need Marvell LAN, RAID drivers and other drivers as well. Just look for the drivers for the OS that you're going to be installing, download, un-zip, expand the .exe files and burn them to CD. After installing Windows, insert the CD with the drivers and use device manager to update the drivers. If any yellow exclamation marks remain, insert the CD that came w/ the motherboard and finish.
