A8N-SLI chassis fan question

This is my first build, so I'm being super careful 😉
I have a case with a 12cm back fan, and a 9cm front fan. My mobo has the above 3-pin connectors, the CHA1_FAN capable of "ASUS Q-FAN function", and the CHA2_FAN not.
Which fan should go where???

this all depends on what you want q fan to monitor. I don't think it matters either way, if it were me, I'd probably hook the back fan to it. That way when things heat up, the exhaust fan will spin faster. i don't even use q fan.
