A8N-SLI ASUS - Help - No optical drive

I´ve tried with two diferent good optical drives that i currently use in my computer and they don´t get recognized in BIOS. They have leds on, open but won´t be recognized in BIOS. Pluged and unpluged the IDE cable many,many times. What can it be?????
