A8N-SLI and Single Drive SATA on Silicon Controller

Hi

My A8N-SLI System from a shop has a single SATA drive on the Silicon Controller

If I have to re-install windows xp would I need to create/use a driver disk?

Also because its on the Silicon Controller I won't need to install the Nvidia IDE drivers?
