cpu: oc'd to 2.55ghz, 5x multi
gpu: oc'd to 565 and 1215mhz
temp: in the 32c - 37c range

score: 8044

for whatever it's worth, 3dMark05 would crap-out when either pushing my 7800 beyond 465 and 1220 or my cpu running at 2.6ghz (still haven't deduced to one of the two). anyhow, seems like it runs stable at the speeds shown above. question is how much higher will my GPU go and while producing "justifiable" and safe results. seems like the performance gains between 460=465 and 1205-1215 are somewhat negligible.

It seems like RAM speed of the vid card makes a bigger impact than clock speed in 3dmark05. I'm not positive, but that's the impression I got.

I think you can score a little higher than that with your rig. Put NVidia settings to "high performance" instead of the default "quality" setting - that's worth a couple hundred points right there. Your rig should get around 8500 or so in my opinion.

I would back the OC down on the 7800 and see what you can get on your CPU first, you should be able to get a much better OC on the CPU. I have a SD 3700+ on an A8N-SLI deluxe and mine clocks to 2805mhz on 1.55v.

I would try the following settings if I had your rig.

HTT multi = 4x
HTT = 250mhz
CPU multi = 11x
CPU volts = 1.55v
Max Mem Clock = DDR333 (166 divider) this will run your ram at about 185mhz (DDR370)
DDR volts = 2.80
DDR timings = 2-3-2-7

This would give you 2750mhz, if this works try bumping it up to 255x11=2805mhz. Once you find your max CPU overclock then work on the 7800, focusing on the memory speed. Core speed overclocks yield very little performance and effect system stability more, so keep your core overclock light to moderate.
