im thinking of using an Asus A8N-E mobo with the OCZ PC4000 EL GOLD VX ram that i currently have. i know i'll need the DDR Voltage booster, but would the performance still be as good as the OCZ with the DFIs?
i know DFI would be the way to turn for overclocking it to its peak, but the reason i'm turning away from the DFI is because i cannot fit a zalman NJ45 heatsink on it, i hate how loud the south bridge fans have become.
with the A8N-E i can simplay swap it, and even if i have to overclock i can run a 40mm on low speed to compensate.
but performance wise would it be similar? i don't plan to overclock to much, but seeing as how i already have the OCZ VX would the A8N-E provide me with results like the DFI?
