A8N-E BIOS update gone wrong...need help

In preparation for installing a dual core, I though I would update the BIOS on my A8N-E. Following the instructions on Asus' website, I first updated the chipset drivers to v6.65. That was successful. Then I used the windows BIOS updated facility to flash the 1013 BIOS. Now the operating system loads, but within a minute I get a blue screen with some sort of memory error, and it reboots.

Unfortunately, I'm not very knowledgable about this stuff...so I'm a little lost about my next steps here. Can anybody give me some guidance?
