A8N-E bios unstabe

Hi all, just found this forum.

Bios is 1013. Sometimes when starting comp, the bios will have gone to default settings. The date will be 1/1/06, midnight. The mobo is only about 1 month old so I doubt that the battery is bad. This is only one problem, since a few weeks ago, the RAID 1 disapeared and now I have 2 HDD visible in Explorer. I intend to reinstall windows, but want bios stable before I do. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. No overclocking. The power supply is an Antec Smart Power 2.0 450W.

Not always. Based on his specs, his psu should be fine; it could be onm the edge though I doubt it. Reflash the bios and do a cmos clear.

I flashed the bios to 1013 two days ago, and reset cmos the same day. Just today, it turned out that the bios setting for "cool n quiet" had disabled itself. I dunno. When the comp is shut down, bios sometimes changes itself.
