I have the above mother board. I am running windows xp Sp2

My problem is I cannot get the standby or hybernate function active. The hybernate tab is missing.
Even the stand by button on shut down screen is not active.

Something wrong with the board?

Thanks.

go to your control panel and power options, check advanced and hibernate tabs to set up behaviour you want

this usually happens if you don't have the correct graphics card drivers installed. what graphics card do you have?

if you updated drivers and you got standby to work then all you need to do is enable hibernate. there is no hibernate tab, you have to hold on to shift when you're at the shutdown dialog, and then the standby button will turn into hibernate. hope this helps! 🙂

if you updated your drivers and you can't get standby, then it's probably another problem. you can get the latest drivers, 71.89 from the nvidia.com website
