A80 vs A60

Decisions, Decisions...

I got the A60 on Sunday for free (paid $125, two $100 mail in rebates)

I got the A80 on Sunday for $212...

I'm trying to figure out which one to keep? They both take great pics so far, I'll be using the camera to take eBay pics mostly. The movie mode on both of them seems to be the same, too.

I like the fact that I got paid $75 to buy the A60, however, the A80 will probably last me a lot longer.

I've read some reviews for both of them, and they all basically say that both cameras are good. What will I use the A80 for that I wouldn't use the A60 for?

Thanks! 😀

The A80 is a slightly more "upscale" version of the A60 (don't know how many MP is the A60 is, but the A80 is 4MP) If it's mostly for eBay then I'd keep the A60 and sell the A80. (I own the A80 and love it, but I would have gotten the A60 if I had gotten paid 75 to buy it)

you can just hold the A80 and feel that it's a better camera 🙂 But i guess if you are looking to take basic pictures then sell the A80, you could probably get 300+ for it on ebay.

yeah i would keep the A80. but i have an A40 and love it. but thinking of getting a higher MP camera

Does the A80 take good night shots? I'm looking to upgrade my Canon S330, which takes crappy night pics and is on the big side.

it seems that unless I'll be taking a lot of self portraits(flip LCD screen) and printing 11x13 pics (4mp), the A60 is the way to go, right?

I have an A80 and my gf has an A70.

I continually mock her for owning a clearly inferior camera to mine.

Oh yeah that flip LCD screen really does wonders for strange angle shots.
