hello i have a question that i know what it mean

i have a a7v8x, xp 2200 not oc, 512 meg major(infineon), a 420 watt power supply (turbo link) the one that come with the turbo case i wanted to know why in the asus prob my 3.3v is at 2.928 and its saying that :+3.3 V Out Of Threshold!!! is it dangourous ?
thanks

If the voltage is truly that low, then it's a problem, but Asus Probe doesn't always get its story straight. Try going into the motherboard's BIOS menus (press the Del key when the A7V8X color logo comes up at startup, then head to the Power menu, go into Hardware Monitor, and see what the voltages look like in there (the manual shows this on page 4-27 and following, if that's a help).

Or use a digital multimeter and probe the main 20-wire ATX connector while the system's running, and see what voltages you really have. If you find that the voltages really are off, maybe get a name-brand PSU such as Enermax, Sparkle Power or Antec, which have proven to be generally trustworthy. Hope that helps, and welcome to the Forums 😀

Thanks for your response, i have change my psu to my old Enermax 300 watt and it works fine 🙂
so thanks again dude
