So i was just screwing around on asus web site and happened to come across a new beta bios which had coincidentally been released that same day. after screwing around for awhile i adjusted my voltages and clock speeds and whatnot. While i wasnt able to get anything more out of my 2000+xp tb which is @ 1.897 (11.5/165) i was able to lower my voltage from 1.85v down to 1.775v and achieve stability under 24 hrs of prime95 which i could not previously do. There are a few quirks with it however. One in particular i noticed was when i booted to 11.5/166 and checked my clock speed in asus probe it said 1833mhz. Now i didnt really trust that so i benched in and it benched out way better than 1833 did so im just getting an incorrect reading. CPUID confirmed this error and gave me the correct reading of 1916mhz. Im hoping to somehow hit 166 fsb on this thing but it just doesent wanna go there im hitting a wall. I set my voltage to 1.85 in hopes of that doing it but even at 1.85v it wont take more than 20 minutes of prime95. If anyone else has this new bios i would like to hear what youve got to say about it so please post
