A7v400-MX problems

Ok I just recently bought this Asus A7V400-MX and how nothing but problems, which were all fixed, except one. When it is booting it detects the IDE drives, both show up but atfer that it sits there for at least 30sec or more before continueing as though nothing is wrong. How can I get rid of that delay?

Sounds to me like a BIOS setting! Many BIOS's have a Delay IDE setting. Check your BIOS and see how this is set. Also, check out THIS guide for some good BIOS information.
