Got a new A7V266-e, new Athlon 1.4, new 512 mb Crucial DDR, new IBM 40 gb HD, hooked it all up, powered up and got...NOTHING!
Checked all cables, etc, tried again and got same result.
Monitor says no signal(using a GeForce 2 DDR that worked when I pulled it from old machine). The fans all spin up. I get no POST beeps, no nothing.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

Try the video card in an old machine, my Radeon died while in my A7V266-E not sure if the card just died for other reasons or because of the motherboard..

just one day went to boot up.. and no signal to the monitor... took the card out tried it in another machine.. dead.. put a PCI card in the A7V266-E while i wait for a RMA from ATI...

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. Swapped parts around and found it was the Athlon that was bad. Guess I'll have to go for an XP of some sort.
