1. You cannot disable the ATA100 controller (meaning you can't tell it "I want ATA66 only"..you CAN disable the Promise controller completely though, but then you can't put any devices on it.
2. Why would you want to anyway? (See #3)
3. An ATA100 controller is backwards-compatible, meaning that ATA66 and ATA33 Harddrives will run just fine on them.
