As you can see I have this board and it's third one. First failed because all my fans stop to working (even on this last one from time to time my MBM 5.08 start to beeping showing speed of my CPU Sanyo Denki fan is 0, go figure), second did not want boot at 133MHz. The common characteristics for all of them is I could not see POST though this feature is enabled in BIOS. I do not have POST on cold boot at all.

In all, I'm immediately getting Windows 2000 progress bar. This is not bed but not sure that I can trust Asus.

Of course Asus support suck and their web site is something worst what I've seen. Their answers are intended for idiots. Combination AMD/VIA is seems to me the worst one. I found article somewhere that whole series of VIA controllers working at 100Mhz and they advertizing them as 133. Speaking pleinly, that is fraud and stealing.

So, anyone know why I am not getting POST.

Thanks,

I've had some problems with this board not posting when first setting it up. Once I had the settings right in the bios, all was better. Other Asus boards have benifted greatly from bios flash. Your supplier may have old stock (even if it is from Asus). While the AMD side of the world have more hicups than the old Intel BX did, once they are up and running, they run great. Might check the power supply, they can cause some pretty strange problems while looking innocent.

I have 400W Antec PSU, board temp is 27 and CPU 48. Not absolutely sure but thermal and power are unlikely source of problems.

You mention setup in BIOS! What did you do?

I found the bios wasn't selecting the right settings for the processor, 1.2 and 1.33 grades.
