A7V133 will not POST ... no video ... only a semi-long beep

Hello all,

I recently bought a reconditioned A7V133 in order to replace my old one that I killed while putting a new hearsink on (scractched the mobo ... pretty dumb.) I did this in order to recover the data on my RAID 0 array with the minimum amount of hassel. However, when I tried to bootup the computer after I installe the new MB, all I got was CD-RW seek and a semi-long beep and no video. After the long beep computer inexplicably shut itself down. At least with the old broken MB the power stayed on! I tried reinsatlling the motherboard, take everything out but videocard, disabling RAID ... nothing has worked. I read somewhere that some guy was able to get his mobo back by manually setting his jumpers to 100Mhz FSB and 9X multiplier setting. I think he didn't even get a beep. What shoudl I do? I am on the verge of buying a new (and current) MB with RAID controller, new RAM, a new HD, and a new CPU and getting running so I can tried to retrieve my data off my current RAID array using the new MB's RAID controller (I will buy one with PROMISE because that what my A7V133 had.) Really 😱:disgust:😕🙁

Thanks in advance!!!
