A7V133..Ultra BIOS not installed no drivers installed

Help please...I am getting an error message I think on boot..

Ultra 100 BIOS not installed no drivers attached.

I installed w98 on my hdd offthe primary ide channel not ata100/raid.

Then I installed the ATA100 drivers off the Asus cd...and I still get this error message...why is ATA100 controller bios not initializing ??

Anyone have an idea??

Since you dont have any drives hooked to the "Raid connectors" look in the bios under the (Boot) section and disable the "Load Onboard ATA bios" it is set to auto and will look for ATA100 drives every time...
 
No I am just stupid it must have said Ultra ATA 100 bios not installed NO DRIVES ATTACHED..not drivers...I just put the HDD on the Promise ATA100 controller and boom worked fine.

Sometimes being stupid is real embarassing
