I have a A7V133 and the darn thing won't detect my CDROM drive either in Bios or in Windows. Does anyone have the same problem?

I put the CD-ROM drive in another computer using Asus P3V4X mobo and it works fine. It's not the drive that's bad.

I also put the drive as master, I'll go try slave setting right now.

Thanks in advance

Make sure IDE port 2 is setup and enabled in the bios. Also try another cable and also make sure the cable is hooked up to IDE2 instead of the Promis controller.
