A7V133 promise ATA100 issues and me(HELP!)

I have done an Install of Win2k with the HDD in the regular ide controller and then installed all of the latest promise drivers.

problem: the promise detects the HDD ok but then message saying that there is bad hardware setup etc comes up

but the promise controllers work fine with my non system HDD

am I missing somthing simpile here or am i going to have to re-install and start with promise drivers at setup?

try a different version of the promise drivers.

Isn't there a rule that the system and boot files can't be part of
a RAID array? Does that applay to RAID 0 or just RAID5
