Ok, I've gotten a lot of guesses, but I really need to know if the A7V133's BIOS supports 4-Way interleaving of memory. Yes or No.

While I don't have one (yet:)) Senior Guy, someone over at TomsHardware motherboard forum posted "the A7V133 BIOS doesn't support 4-way SDRAM interleaving" and that's why he didn't buy it. But as the lawyers say, that's hear-say evidence!

I just posted a reply to a similar question, so here we go again:

Yes, the Asus A7V133 supports 4-way memory interleaving. Set your system for "Optimal" in your BIOS and you're all set.

If it wasn't working, trust me, you'd notice it from the first time you ran your system. Without it, it's like running defrag on a hard drive in PIO mode, the system literally "chokes" and stutters like mad.

If you set the BIOS for "Normal", 4-way interleaving is disabled for compatibility and stability reasons.

Very bad. EVIL. So leave it (or set it) to "Optimal" and enjoy.

Thanks for the confirmation -- 4-way memory band interleaving on the A7V133 seems to be a popular subject lately :D

I've ordered the same MB, so if I use the PC150 Mushkin 256MB (set for 150mhz)I just bought I should get a similar score?

<<Thats at 150 FSB... but im sure that shows you it does support it 4-way interleave is turned on by turning System Performance in the BIOS to Optimal>> ...Dulanic

It's not at all clear to me what's going on in that benchmark, but I'll take your word for it.
