I'm not familliar with KT133A chipset. I just wanted to ask if it can support CPUs faster than 1.2 Ghz and especially if it can support the next Thunderbirds (up to let's say 1.9 Ghz).
If this is so, would it be a good idea to buy an Asus AV133A mainboard or should I wait for newer types?
Thank you.

It is not clear whether this mobo will support the palomino amd processors...there a few details regarding this chip.....

The Asus A7V133 has been reported to run o/c 1.2@14-1.5....beyond that is not clear what the cpu limit is...there is no guarantee all boards will run a 1.2@1.5 because of the power requirements and there is some question as whether or not this mobo with 2phase power moffets can support 1.5ghz and higher.....there is only speculation at this point....

I have this mobo and like it although I am disappointed I missed the fact it was 2 phase and not 3phase power moffets(which are more likely ?? to support the higher speed cpu??)..examples are Iwill and Abits KT133A based mobo

How does the Abit kt7 compare to the asus a7v in ease of use (first time building a computer) and stability (for overclocking)?
