Hi, I need some problem solving help from you geezahs that know about AMD!

I recently upgraded from an Asus CUSL2 with P3 700 @ 933mhz. This ran very well, and had an idle temp of 26 - 31 degrees, and 40-42 degrees full load with a Globalwin FOP38 with YS-TECH fan.

I recently bought an Asus A7V133-C with Athlon XP1800+, and put it in the same case. Im running a Taisol CEK760092 in the same case and im getting temperatures of 40 degrees idle and 44 degrees full load. Now I know this isnt right. The CUSL2 I had had a bad temperature sensor, so I found a tutorial to calibrate the sensor with an temp probe, but that only revealed to be 3 degrees off. I can believe my Athlon is running at 41 degrees idle, a 10 degree or more difference cant be right. Can anyone give me any help?

Thanks

That's looks normal, AMD is warmer than Intel that's what I know,
as long as your system is stable than you don't have any problem.
I use Abit KR7A and the temp is 44C-47C(load) with case temp 22C.

Good luck with your new mobo.

Peace
