I have a 1.3 Ghz CPU now, but I'm looking to see if the 2200 XP chip will work with this mobo. The site just says 1.3Ghz+

Am I to assume it will? Has anyone tried it?

This site will probably tell you:)

You need to know which revision your m/brd is .

I know my Asus A7V133 rev 1.01(?,lower than 1.05 anyway) supported the Morgan Duron which is the same core as the Palmino XP,dunno about the TBred but I believe its still the same core but on 0.13u with 1.65v

Thinking the 2200+ :D

Not too much $$ just for a processor, but I could sure use it for SETI. :D

If I find a home (mobo) out of the BEOWULF stuff, I just might add the original 1.3ghz to the pile. ;)

I have an A7V133 (rev 1.05) with a XP1800+. It runs fine but slower than DDR systems... ;)
I just have had to upgrade the bios (from 1007 to 1009) and put the new chip. :)

You might want to confirm that the Tbred CPU does work with your m/brd before you buy it ,
can you borrow it?;)
