A7V133 and GeForce2MX... need help!

My problem is I can only run 1x or 4x.
4x is unstable (can't start 3D mode, and on 2D it's unstable if the driving force is not DA, EA, FA or FB)
1x is slow

If you know how I can set AGP speed to 2x, or have a trick so that it's stable at 4x, tell me.

My config is:
Tbird 900 at 900 (9x100) or 933 (7x133)
Asus A7V133 1001C bios
Hercules GeForce2MX (no dual head)
Via 4-in-1 4.25(a)
NVidia Detonators (reports 4.12.01.650 at driver version, was the lastest from nvidia's site)

thanx for the feedback ppl!
i just flashed the 1002A (i think) bios, that has a 1x/2x/4x agp setting and i think i'll give it a try at 2x with fast writes. i'll also try the EF driving force and tell you the results, but i think i tried it yesterday and it doesn't work. i'm away from this pc now.. i'll post tonight.

now there is a 1003 bios, also update your via 4n1 drivers 1428 is final now, if you are having problems in win2k, microsoft has a patch for that.
