Hi all, I have a problem with my new mobo:
I can't plug a trust 56k pci modem 'cause during the boot appears a message telling that there's no keyboard present. If I remove it, all goes ok.
My configuration:
athlon tb 1000, asus a7v133 bios 1004, 256ram pc133, sblive, creative geforce2 gts, advansys pci scsi adapter.
Is there someone who experienced the same or a similar problem?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Your problem does seem strange. I have an Actiontec 56K Call Waiting modem in slot 5 sharing IRQ9 with USB and ACPI = no problem.

Perhaps your bios is corrupt. You could try re-flashing it in. Have you tried your modem in another computer or another modem in your a7v133

Dulaniac seems to know everything about the a7v133. Ask him to look at your thread.

Good luck.

Also, what exactly is your problem with the promise controller? It should be O.K., even sharing an IRQ
