I'm trying to put another hd on a secondary channel of the Promise.
How can I make it boot to the drive of my choice. I was looking through the bios, but can't find it. The booting sequence I see is floppy, IDE, or Promise.

By the way, I will use English Win98 and Korean win98.
 
you cant have it set to boot of the second promise channel. it will only boot off the primary via or the primary promise
 
Just switch to the primary promise cannel and move the other HDD to secondart promise..like Boonesmi said
 
Is that mean I have to open the box whenever I want to access the hd on the Promise secondary channel? I mean disconnect the primary and switch the cable over to the other hd?

Is there anyway to get a boot choice, if I put the hd as a slave on the primary channel?
 
all you have to do is put one as the primary master on the promise, and one as the primary master on the via, then you can switch boot order in bios
