A7V ???

I recently purchased a A7V board and put a duron 600 on it, when i fire it up i get about 10 second's of nothing then a high pitched beep then a low pitched beep then high then low....etc.
i double ck'd the cpu and it look's fine.

any help would be appreciated

when I received the mobo is wasn't even in a static bag

Reconnect all the wires and RAM. Make sure everything is fitted tightly.

Sound like a siren? If so, its a fried processor.

I had that with my RMA7V's, it was the board, send it back.

it was the 256 stick of ram is bad stuck a 128 stick in it and BAM !!!
