I read on the A7V Troubleshooting website that if you have one of the P2T cables, you should plug it into the Power Supply Heat-sensor header. Since you can get that little guy right next to the core, the readings are actually fairly accurate and you don't need the BIOS fudge factor added for A7v's that came without this feature. I don't remember where I read about it on that site, probably the forums... but it does work. I was previously getting temperatures in the 50C range when I didn't have my Tbird OC'ed (800 @ 1.75V), now it maxes out at 44C-45C (958Mhz @ 1.85V).
