Ya I know it's a cheap sound card, but I have never had this prob before. It stalls when it gets to the gameport(no Joystick wot a bummer). Won't load it and starts ASD (automatic skip driver) I dont know if the boards with the onboard sound use Yamaha, but I am also getting a reference
to DS XG (which is the Yamaha sound chip) in the ASD even though no drivers or devices appear anywhere. Most confusing
any help from resident wizards appreciated. Where do I go in sysedit to delete the reference to the DS XG ? I think this is the root of the problem as it creates a conflict. God bless Bill Gates and his fine operating system (98 SE)
