A7V Video Card Compatibility

I am considering upgrading to a Radeon (64ddr vivo) or GeoForce2 (similar specs). Wondering if one card is favored over the other. "We" (myself and two teenage boys) currently spend our gaming time on Unreal Tournament, Falcon 4.0, Delta Force, and Combat Flight Simulator. My Voodoo3-3500 does ok in UT, with only occasional stutters, but I know we can do better. I plan on building a second system (the same two boys like our new DSL line as well) and will put the Voodoo3 in that, so it's not going to waste.

Any opinions? I prefer stability on the A7V and good drivers over a few FPS. I plan on using the video-out. (Again, those teenage boys want to see LAVA on a big screen, I have to admit that will sound/look "cool" with the 5.1 speakers!) Good DVD performance would be nice as well.

Thanks

I would suggest the 3D Prophet 2 MX for everything except for tv-out (not available). My buddy runs the MX and he has no complaints. I run the 3D prophet 2 GTS 32 (with tv out) and the A7V and I am very happy with its performance but for value MX is the best. The only concern I have with hercules(maker of card) is that the are not the quickest with drivers but you could always use Nvidia's drivers.

Hope this helps
