A7V owners, anyone try the Promise to RAID hack (Software Only)?

I have run across a couple of discussions about it, and was wondering if anyone here has tried it. I don't have 2 HD's, so I haven't messed around with it, but might if someone else here had luck with it.

This doesn't require any soldering, supposed to be done in software...

I'm also very interested in if this works as well as any other raid board out there. I just bought 2 more 30 giggers and would like to stick with this board so I won't have to go ABIT. Nothing wrong with ABIT other than I already got Asus.

so far it only works in win98, you have to do the resistor mod type if you want to use win2000, braziliantech says he is working on win2000 drivers also try looking at http://stormpages.com
