a7v mutiplier settings

Sorry to be a pain, but a7v manual and statements
made at different forums conflict. Is there any way
to adjust the cpu core voltage and the cpu fsm bus
using the bios and also use the fre. cpu mutiplier to adjust the speed. All at the same time.
If so, please advise and thanks in advance.

yes, there is...
1. leave the jumper that determine jumper/jumper free on jumper free mode...
2. leave the fsb setting at default...
3. set the voltage to max 1.85v using jumpers...
4. make sure your duron is unlocked then set the multiper dips to what you want
5. boot the system, and now you have full control in bios over voltage, fsb, and memory speed...and you also has full control over multiper via the dips...

ps..setting the voltage to 1.85v by jumpers will allow you to choose 1.85v and below in bios...but default voltage will become 1.85v...

Actually, its even easier. JumperFree (the default setting) allows the BIOS to adjust both the FSB speed and the voltage. Also, contrary to some written sources, the multiplier DIPS work under jumperFree mode. So pretty much all you have to do is play with the DIPs for the multiplier and use the BIOS for FSB and voltage.

In short. you do nothing special. just change the multiplier and use the bios.
