A7V locking up during Unreal Tournament

I have noticed that while playing unreal tournament my computer locks up. I havent had the problem anywhere else but UT. Me and my roommmate both have a7v's with 1003 bios, PCI cache master reading enabled. Running Windows 98 SE with a v3 2000. I thought the problem may be due to our home network ( sygate manager ) but I am not sure. I was thinking about flashing the bios to 1004 or 1005 beta. Any help plz??????!!
