I just read on the Asus site, you have to set it to Jumper mode, in order to set the clock multiplier.

Does this mean then you cant use the stepless frequency adjuster in the bios and are also limited to the bus speeds on the jumpers??
How about the vcore?

Any enlightenment would be appriciated

Actually, the DIP switches can be used for adjusting the multiplier without going to Jumpermode. This means that you can still use the BIOS for adjusting voltage and FSB. You just ahve to set the two rightmost switches (5,6) to ON in order for the DIP switches to work.

Personally, I feel that it runs more stable in Jumper mode, but then again, the difference in top stable speed that I was able to get was the same (800 either way). Actually ran for a day at 850 in Jumper mode when it didn't even POST in JumperFree. Just something to think about.
