A7V extra USB ports

I've got one of the original A7V boards. It has the capability to run 7 USB ports (so I've read).

2 are onboard obviously, and there are 3 connectors on the board for extra ports. Where can I get the riser cards & cables I need? Can someone give me an Asus code for this so I can search for it easily in the UK?

cheers,

seb

2 ports are located at the back of the board....but your board should have shipped with a 3port bracket that goes on the back where the cards are. The final 2 ports are provided with the iPanel.

Andy: Are you sure about the iPanel? I was checking out my A7V and didn't see any iPanel connector, luckily. A friend just got the iPanel for his CUV4X(I think that's the name...dual cpu/PIII mobo) and the thing doesn't work! A search of Asus site results in strange silence(except users with problems). A subsequent websearch turns up mounds of complaints and a couple user end fixes. One which requires adding a resistor into the cable.

I believe that the last 2 USB ports are meant for the front panel, but not the iPanel. Could be wrong though.
