A7V Bios settings wont stay set!

I am trying to enable the:
SpreadSpectrum Control
Pci Master Read Caching
Delayed Transactions
The problem is once they are set are changed And saved, Yes i save them, they reset themselves. I read somewhere that this is because i have a duron chip (700). Does the motherboard dumb down the settings for non thunderbird processors?? Is there any way to get aorund this? I am running the 1004 bios. Will reverting back to the 1003 bios solve my problems? if so how do I do it. thanks

Bios 1004 does not allow those settings with a Duron. Use the aflash utility to flash back to 1003. I recommend going Here and getting the bios 1003e2 (I am using it of course. 35C with load spikes). He has some very good info to look through also.

Well, i'm using 1004D and i enable all of them. They stay set.

jinsonxu, with a Duron? You would be the first person to do it then. PCI MRC will only stay enabled on a thunderbird.

Yes, i checked. This system is a Duron and those settings are all set as enabled. Only disabled bytemerge cause my NIC had problems.
