A7V BIOS 1009

I have an asus A7V and "updated" to BIOS revision 1009 and got got stuck with the problem many of you have heard about, no POST. i've tried every suggestion i've seen online and even ordered a new rom chip from badflash.com, still nothing. i called asus and waited 10 min to hear "can i have a name and number so we can call you back" seeing as they haven't responding to a 2 week old email and this is a BS request in the first place, i said no and hung up. anyone have any ideas about what i can do about my comp???:disgust:

First, I would check all the connections in the computer and just try to boot with the bare minimum. Second, I would try the power supply, because that was the problem when I wasn't able to post. If you're able to get your computer working, try flashing it back to version 1007. Hope this helps. Usually when you're unable to post, it's a hardware problem.

This happened to me also, about a week ago. Let me back up, the first A7V I had, was pure crap, but supposedly it was the greatest thing out at the time. So duing the trouble shoot of it I bought another one to see if the M-B was the problem. The new one worked fine up till about a week ago when I decided to bring it up to date before a re-build. The flash went bad so I trashed the board and have ordered a cheep Shuttle AK12A to replace it. (my daughters system). Want parts?
