A7V and VIO setting

You can down it to the true default of 3.3v and you may experience some instability if you have some pwer hungry cards. However, there is also a chance that your CPU will run cooler (that's what I hear people say at least).

Upping the IO voltage will have an opposite effect. Also, as always with increasing voltage, you also have the chance of damaging hardware by giving it too much power.
