I seem to have a problem to get these working togheter.
The card installs and seems to work fine in ME (e.g the device manager reports the card as OK).

However I can't seem to get a connection with our network at home.

Changing the card back to my old one (the 3Com 900b combo version) and using the exact same network settings works fine.

With both the cards I use TP. And I know that the card works fine as we've tried it out in another computer.

I just don't get it. Could it be and IRQ thing even though ME doesn't say that there is anything wrong.
The card is on the last PCI slot, should this matter?

Seems like this is more of an OS question. You may want to cross post there.

I have my A7V working fine with the 905B-TX under Win2K and Win98SE. Don't know about ME since I don't have it.

If this helps any, the card works in both the second slot andthe fifth slot (fifth being the bottom). It is on IRQ 9 in Win2k b/c Win2k does a retarded job assigning IRQs (shared with ALL my cards). Still works though. On boot it has IRQ 7 along with the ATA100 and LPT1.

I am also using this card together with a Asus A7V. I did however have a problem with it if I put it in the fifth PCI slot. I guess it conflicts with the USB controllers. I am running it in PCI slot4 now with no problems.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!

Well for anyone who wants to know.

I had to disable Byte merge for the card to work,
I now have it in slot 5,
