Any know of any source for or any work being done on BIOS revisions for the A7S333? It appears that ASUS has backed away from voltage controls for this board (the reference to the non-existent voltage setting having been removed from their website). Is there any hope for a 1:5 PCI divider in a new BIOS though? After all, the MSI board based on the SiS 745 chipset does appear to have such a divider.

Why are you looking for a 1:5 PCI divider that is elusive to VIA and even on the P4 SiS boards? You have to understand the history of this board. As far as Asus is concerned get rid of the stock build up and be done with it. This board was designed and manufactured a while back but was never released because of pressure from VIA. I bought it hoping for some voltage and multiplier controls as they advertised. NONE and doubt if there ever will be.
And as future BIOSes goes I will be surprised if even 1004.1 beta will ever become final. But I would like Asus to stand by its products and at least prove me wrong! Well is cheap anyways so no big deal.

My primary interest in the 1:5 PCI divider is that it will allow me to OC the FSB. Apparently the SiS 745 chipset doesn't perform very well running async, in spite of the fact that it 'officially' supports 333MHz DDR. To really take advantage of it you've got to set the memory ratio to 1:1 and then OC the FSB (ideally to 166MHz, but that's not going to happen with the PCI bus at 42MHz). A bit disappointing, but as you said at least it's cheap with decent performance and stable at 1:1 and 133MHz FSB. I really don't see what the issue is though, since the MSI board using the same chipset has the 1:5 divider.
